    Osmosis is the equalization of ion concentrations between two solutions with different ion exchange rates and a semi-permeable membrane between them by means of osmotic pressure. In order to reverse this event, when a pressure greater than the osmotic pressure is applied with a pump, the semi-permeable membrane with 5 Angstrom-sized holes in it passes only pure water while retaining bacteria, pyrogens, organic substances, suspended solids, dissolved salts, nitrite, aluminum and heavy metals. Unlike its counterparts, RainWater Pure Plus-Pro systems are equipped with USE – AT type filters with a unique quarter-turn system that provides easy installation and quick filter change. Thanks to this system, the same filter container is not used again and again, ensuring high-level hygiene and filter safety. All filtration equipment and connection elements are NSF and FDA approved
